Welcome Wilbur Wednesday

Poor Nick was back on the (very windy) road yesterday but returned triumphant with our new boar, Wilbur.

He had never been in a trailer before and hilariously it took some doing to coax him in. Ramps are scary!!! And then even longer (several hours) for him to decide to get out once he was here.

Once he did leave the trailer, as you can see he was quite pleased. Room to roam, his own shelter and GIRLS!

Molly is known to be awfully tough to win over but he seems to have made a good first impression. They will be getting acquainted across the fence for a bit and then he will be in with Molly first.

Fingers crossed this solves our breeding problems, but only time will tell.
